Tato krásná píseň vznikla v 60.letech původně jako song pro jeden z dílů seriálu Píseň pro Rudolfa III., ale záhy se stala symbolem odporu k okupaci ČSSR sovětskými vojsky v srpnu 1968. O 21 let později ji Marta Kubišová, jedna z mnoha skvělých umělců perzekvovaných komunistickým režimem, zpívala pro davy lidí v Praze během Sametové revoluce, jejíž 20.výročí si dnes připomínáme a je aktuální dodnes. A když už jsme u toho-autentické záběry (v překvapivě dobré kvalitě) z demonstrací na přelomu let 88-89, které předznamenávaly pomalé, ale jisté hroucení se komunistického režimu.
